Hurricane Alex I shake my fist at you! Today we arrived in Texas to be met by our new friend Alex, he is short tempered, throwing rain, wind, and 95% humidity our way. But this didn't stop team Skatera from rolling through! Point of the day we were stuck standing in 4 inches of water giving lessons of how to cut a shirt, and our amazing volunteers passed out stickers, helped set up and helped conduct the Twitter contest! The band Poema has been such a great ban to have featured in our tent. We also had some special guest friends come in and hang out so a huge thanks to Jordan Brown from Set Our Goals, Mike Mulholland from Emmure and Alex from Suicide Silence!!   There are a few lucky girls running around in Skatera gear signed by some pretty stellar people!! Come stop by Girlz Garage cuz you never know who will be hanging out or cutting up some tees ;-)

Until you’ve seen Warped Tour bands compete for first place honors in a bowling tournament you haven't seen fun in a bowling alley.  Skatera had the opportunity of sponsoring and attending the 3rd annual TJ Martel Bowling Tournament in Phoenix Arizona.  The energy on the lanes was incredible!

The event let fans bowl with there favorite Warped Tour bands. Guest spots were auctioned off and the highest bidder got to spend the night with the bands, bowling and hanging out on the lanes. $11,000.00 was raised for a very worth while cause! It was pretty incredible to see the great evening of competition!

You can also contribute to the organization by texting "TJ" to 90999. It will donate $5 towards their leukemia, cancer and AIDS research.

We had a great day in Venture! Lots of wonderful energy and good fun. Our “Demo & Patch” station was in full gear with girls cutting the tee’s up and creating their own shapes and styles and painting logo’s. We event had a big 3OH!3 fan make a custom band t-shirt. The girls were walking away with smiles.

If you didn’t know about it we also have an hourly “twitter contest”. In a nut shell twitter a picture of a Skatera sticker creatively placed in your Tour stop. Its that simple and you can win some fun swag! Our winner of the day was with the Oopma Loompas! But I am certain this is just the beginning of the fun and everyone will be getting even more creative! We're looking forward to it.
